Overall, we had a very positive experience with our international move. From the very beginning, the communication with the moving company was clear, quick and professional. They were precise and responsive throughout the whole process, which made us feel that everything was well organised and under control.
Before the move, they came to our home for an inspection and prepared the quote based on what actually needed to be moved. The person who came for the survey was very professional, thorough and helpful, and we appreciated having the opportunity to discuss everything in person before making our decision.
We chose the company because the communication was good from the beginning, the quotation was clear and the overall price seemed in line with the market for an international move of this type. We were also reassured by the planning and the way they explained the different steps of the move.
The actual move went smoothly. Everything happened within the agreed timeframe and, overall, the team was professional and efficient. We did not experience any major problems or delays, and the move was completed as planned. Considering how stressful an international move can be, especially when moving an entire household, this was definitely a positive experience.
There were only a couple of things that could have been better. Some of our belongings were wrapped in protective plastic while others were not, and we would have expected a more consistent approach to packing, especially considering the price we paid for the service. It was a relatively small issue, but it did bother us a little because we felt that the level of protection should have been consistent for all items.
The other minor issue was related to the parking arrangement in Amsterdam. We had paid quite a substantial amount for the official parking reservation in front of our home through the municipality, but for some reason there were no signs or clear indications that the space had actually been reserved. This created some unnecessary uncertainty on the day of the move.
Apart from these minor points, we are very satisfied with the service. The company was reliable, professional and responsive, the agreed schedule was respected, and the move was completed without any significant issues.
Looking back, we would choose them again and would recommend them to anyone planning an international move!Lees meer

De dienstverlening van Mondial kattenberg was zwaar onder de maat. Ik heb via hen de verhuizing van Nijmegen naar Siracusa op Sicilië geregeld. Ze presenteren zich als internationale verhuizers met focus op Italia. Dat was naast de prijs een van de redenen voor mij om het hen in zee te gaan. Op de afgesproken datum hebben ze de spullen ingeladen en negen dag later zouden ze die komen brengen in Siracusa. Had netjes op beide adressen een parkeerplaats voor de verhuisauto geregeld, zoals afgesproken. Ik heb alles gedaan wat zij me gevraagd hebben. Krijg ik op de afleverdag om vijf uur in de middag een app dat de auto vast zit en de oude stad van Siracusa niet in kan. De vrachtwagen is er te groot voor. Bovendien bleek dat de beide heren geen woord Italiaans kunnen. Ik moest alles vertalen via de telefoon tussen hen en alle lokale betrokkenen. De verkeersopstopping was dusdanig groot dat de politie heeft ingegrepen en hen de stad heeft uitgejaagd met escorte en de heren dreigden gewoon terug te rijden naar Nederland met spullen en al. Toen moest ik zelf een lokale verhuizer met een kleine bus regelen om de spullen in over te laden en uiteindelijk bij me af te leveren. Dat heeft me 350 euro gekost. Kattenberg Mondial weigert om dat te vergoeden. Wat is hier fundamenteel fout? 1. Ze sturen twee mannen op weg naar Italië die geen woord Italiaans kunnen en profileren zich ook nog als Italiëspecialist! 2. Zij zijn nadrukkelijk nalatig geweest. Zij hadden hun expertise moeten inzetten om het risico van de onbereikbaarheid van de oude stad te voorzien en daar evt rekening mee te houden in de offerte. Alsof bereikbaarheid van oudere steden in Italië een zeldzaam gegeven is. Als je als klant in zee gaat met een verhuisbedrijf, moet je kunnen vertrouwen op hun expertise. Zij hadden dit kunnen en moeten voorzien. Dat kan bij Kattenberg Mondial dus niet. Als ik niet zelf een lokale verhuizer in de arm had genomen, dreigden ze ook nog eens de spullen weer mee terug te nemen naar Nederland. Emailverkeer om tot een vergelijk te komen over de extra kosten van 350 wordt door Kattenberg Mondial afgewezen. Kortom, een onbetrouwbaar bedrijf.Lees meer

Heel professioneel iemand kwam langs om te beoordelen hoeveel verhuisd moet worden, we kregen daarna een offerte met een goede beschrijven van wat er zou gaan gebeuren, op de verhuizing dag kwamen 3 zeer pro jonge verhuizer, de dozen hebben we gevuld, zij hebben meubels gedemonteerd ingepakt enz. Perfect gedaan met grote zorg voor beelden en schilderijen. Alles is nu naar de opslag en we zullen later een verhuis datum geven om alles naar italië te rengen.
