A bait and switch if your moving company picked them, seek legal advice immediately

I have read the complaints on various social platforms and we have fallen victim to the same scam. We have had no less than five additional invoices raised since our shipment arrived in Rotterdam (from Cape Town, South Africa) in January 2023. It is now the end of July 2023 and our shipment remains in their bonded warehouse almost seven months later; each time there are unexplained delays and then further invoices raised. The latest two invoices (invoice for Euro 450 and Euro 260) are for a customs inspection/ x-ray requested in April 2023, more than three months after our shipment arrived in Rotterdam and was cleared through customs (note that we have another invoice sent by them for a customs delay charge during the initial customs inspection), and apparently our free storage has run out effective 01 July 2023 - although they have been claiming that the free storage period has run out since May. I personally called the port and they have no record of an inspection request raised in respect of our shipment. When I raised this with WFR, it took them 48 hours to mention that the inspection isn't done by customs at the port but by 'another customs.' When I queried what 'another customs' meant and asked for proof of the inspection request, I was told that there is no paper trail, nor written request. I asked for a phone number to contact the department and was told that they do not have a phone.
Our shipment is 7 cubic metres and we have been invoiced Euro 960 in additional fees so far, excluding a disputed invoice for shuttle transfers for a further Euro 300 as apparently their truck cannot deliver our goods due to problems with our road ... despite the fact that we live in a freestanding house in a suburb, with our own private driveway and a road more than 3m wide. After much fighting, they eventually conceded and reversed this invoice. All in all, invoices raised for a further Euro 1260.
There seems to be a pattern - additional invoices are raised after the fact and we are being held to ransom. We all get the same response - pay up or your belongings will not be delivered and you will incur further invoices. When we ask for proof of the additional said costs, no proof is available.
This needs to stop! It is grossly unfair and unethical on a whole new level. Numerous attempts to provide [Name removed by Sirelo] with the opportunity to sort this out ethically and provide the proof for the additional invoices that have been raised are ignored - I have an email trail a mile long.
I would like to report WFR to Fraude Help Desk and lay a charge with Police Station Marconiplein so that other families do not have to experience the horror that I have experienced. If I can prove a pattern, it would definitely help. Kindly send your experience to ****** so that I can illustrate these ongoing issues.

They extort you for additional costs (that are never mentioned or agreed) and they hold your goods as ransom. THE WORST experience ever! We had demurrage fees added, storage costs added and delivery delayed by 6 months due to their mistakes and had to pay an additional EUR1000 to get our furniture delivered. We were in constant contact with[Name removed by Sirelo] (from WFR) who was very unhelpful, demanding before any service and took weeks to respond to requests about the demurrage fees. Their modus operandi is NOT TO DELIVERY YOUR GOODS, but to hold you goods as ransom to incur additional fees so that you need to pay them more. In my opinion CRIMINAL!!
